Good writing brings in good customers - lots of good customers. Writing is a relatively small part of your overall marketing budget, and it’s a lousy place to skimp; good design and massive coverage will get your message in potential customer’s hands, but if the message is poorly written they’ll never be converted to actual customers and you’ll have wasted your money. Hire a writer. You’ll get more value for your dollar than in any other segment of your marketing budget.
Don’t be fooled by the name - though I’m based in Colorado, I work for clients nationally preparing magazine articles, newsletters, case studies, catalog copy, talk outlines, books, president’s letters and whatever else is needed. I’ve been writing for publication for 20 years, am fast and versatile, and look forward to being your company’s ‘staff writer’. Won’t it be nice to have someone you can call for a quick turnaround project? Someone who can take care of any interviews or research needed and get the words right the first time? Someone you don’t have to worry about, letting you get back to the work you do best?
My background is in land surveying, civil engineering and software sales, and I do have a ‘leg up’ in these industries. But I’ve also written for realtors, a foundry, a hot tub manufacturer, and lots more; I’m a quick study, and any time I spend getting up to speed on your products or industry is on my time, not yours.
